All Simple - Notice history

We have not had any further issues, we will continue to monitor the service and performance. Now that this work has been completed it paves with the way to continue with further mail service improvements in the future.

No issues overnight but we did reach threshold this morning which caused a few connection errors, the threshold has been increased and services appear to be returning to normal.

We haven't seen any errors or had any reports of issues so far, we will continue to monitor for the next 24 hours.

We have fixed a bug and set the service active again, so far we are just seeing successful connections, we will continue to monitor the situation.

There were a lot of successful connections but we also noticed a few errors, we have reverted the change whilst these are resolved.

The CloudLinux PHP versions have now been updated,

On our web hosting platform, we are still waiting for the CloudLinux update packages.

We are running their Imunify360 firewall that has the following mitigations providing protection in the interim:
- WAF ruleset 8.83 (09:08): blocks the known exploit request pattern and adds detection of exploit attempts.
- WAF ruleset 8.84 (13:07): blocks the publicly available exploit tool and additional exploit request patterns.
- WAF ruleset 8.85 (17:17): blocks further variants of the exploit tool and adds detection of related malformed upload requests.
- IP reputation (updated continuously): IP addresses that scan for or exploit these vulnerabilities get a CAPTCHA challenge on servers protected by Imunify360.

Everything else has already been upgraded

We have now applied updates to our managed hosting services and are waiting for updates from DirectAdmin & CloudLinux for shared hosting

Our own machines that have updates available have been updated, we are waiting for package updates for other vendors, CloudLinux have applied rulesets that should block the circulating exploits until the full fix is released, we will provide further updates in due course.
